Expert System at the Intelligence event organized by the United States European Command

Heidelberg, Germany, February 15-17 2010

Expert System, a market leader in the development of software for data comprehension and analysis, will participate at the United States European Command (USEUCOM) Intelligence Summit & Technology Expo (Heidelberg, Germany, February 15-17, 2010) to present it’s strategic information analysis platform to the industry.

The underlying theme of this international summit is, “Building Partnerships-Linking Nations”.
The event is, in fact, designed to be a meeting place for U.S. and European specialists, program managers, intelligence analysts and government/military/business experts specialized in advanced technology. The summit will give these specialists the opportunity to discuss and identify new ways to improve the efforts of collaboration and intelligence sharing in order to confront the challenges of national and international security.

Expert System will be presenting Cogito Intelligence Platform, the suite developed specifically for Intelligence Analysts who work for government departments and corporate security. The software  performs automatic strategic analyses of large quantities of text and audio data (web pages, e-mails, audio streams, forums, blogs, twitter, etc.) with the efficiency and flexibility to cater to analysts’ needs.

“Semantic technology is receiving a great deal of attention,” comments Andrea Melegari, Vice President of Expert System’s Intelligence Division, “Cogito’s ability ‘to understand’ works to efficiently support the needs of intelligence analysts. With the capability to re-create the human reasoning process, semantic technology is likely to become an essential instrument to extract information from data silos and to ‘connect the dots’ rapidly and efficiently”.

Expert System will be located at the Summit stand #62
