Italian Innovation Day, Silicon Valley

Expert System today announced its participation in the upcoming Italian Innovation Day, held March 31 at Stanford University. The event, organized by the Mind the Bridge Foundation, with the Business Association Italy America, Intesa San Paolo and Booz & Co, is designed to bring together the best of Italian innovation and technology.
Italian Innovation Day will open with an SME showcase dedicated to examples of Italian innovation, and will include a conference held in collaboration with Harvard Business School and a pitch session of 12 start ups to leading investors.
Expert System founders Stefano Spaggiari, CEO and Marco Varone, CTO and President, will participate in the SME showcase, featuring the company’s award-winning Cogito semantic software. Cogito was developed in Modena, Italy by Spaggiari, Varone and co-founder Paolo Lombardi, and today, it is used by some of the world’s leading companies to improve knowledge management, customer care and corporate intelligence.
